About
David Knight moved to Goudhurst from Tunbridge Wells in 1999, with his wife to raise their two children in the Kent countryside.
He still works locally at the business he founded in 1987 and he is committed to providing a more effective, Independent, representation for our rural villages at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, where he was elected Borough Councillor for Goudhurst and Lamberhurst in the May 2021 local elections.
He was re-elected again to the Borough in May 2024 for the new ward of Rural Tunbridge Wells and serves as vice-chair on the important Overview and Security committee and was also elected Deputy Leader of The Tunbridge Wells Alliance.
He was elected to Goudhurst Parish Council in the May 2019 and is serving as Chair of the Amenenities Committee and deputy chair of the Finance and Youth and Housing committees.
He is also a trustee of Kilndown Village Hall, Quarry Centre and The Millenium Green where he represents Goudhurst Parish Council.
