I am very pleased to report that with a huge community effort, we have received pledged vouchers of nearly £200,000 which covers the £182,040, Open Reach have quoted to build the Ultrafast fibre broadband scheme. This covers over 180 properties in Kilndown including Christ Church, Kilndown Village Hall, the Quarry Centre and The Slade.
We can now complete the submission to Open Reach which will be made this week and then are finally on the road to the 21st century! Many thanks to all that helped get this project off the ground.
